Complex Enterprise Work

Two enterprise case studies: scaling a fragmented UI into a unified system, and designing a first-of-its-kind tool for tracking physical keys.

The company and the platform

Allegion is a global manufacturer of architectural door hardware, access control, and security solutions for commercial and residential buildings. Overtur is its project platform, where architectural plans are created and maintained across everyone working on a building.

Key System Management is a micro frontend inside that platform. It picks up after the plans are done, serving the building managers, locksmiths, and keyholders who manage physical keys for the finished building, along with the internal Allegion reps and account managers who support them. Both case studies below sit inside that product.
